Read guideFive habits that matter more than mashing buttons.
- 1
Learn the buttons before the streets teach you
Open the Mexican Ninja controls page, pick keyboard or a pad, and commit light, heavy, jump, dash, parry, and both Jutsu triggers to muscle memory. The first hour is lost if you fight the layout instead of the Narkuzas.
- 2
Treat parry as the real combo starter
Button-mashing works on trash mobs and fails on Chunks and bosses. Read combat and parry so you know when a universal parry creates the opening for juggles instead of eating a belly-bump into a wall.
- 3
Spend early coins on Way of the Donkey
Temporary run loot vanishes on death. Permanent nodes on the Way of the Donkey skill tree, trained with El Mero Mero Sensei, are what make the second and third runs actually different. Do not hoard coins for swagger until basics are unlocked.
- 4
Lock two Jutsus that match the district
You only equip two Mexican Jutsus at a time. Use the Jutsus guide and the build planner to pair crowd clear with a boss tool instead of taking two spectacle moves that overlap.
- 5
Scout the five heads, then buy or refund
Stage order is fixed even when side paths roll. Skim the walkthrough and boss guide, then read the Mexican Ninja review if you still need a buy decision after the free demo.
Wiki FAQ
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is Mexican Ninja out yet?
Yes. Madbricks and Amber launched it on August 20, 2026 for Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. See launch notes and platforms for store links and the remaining launch discount window.
Does Mexican Ninja support a second player?
No. It is a single-player 2.5D roguelike beat-em-up. Bring a pad for yourself, not a friend on the same sofa.
What language should I play in?
Full audio ships in English and Latin American Spanish. Interface and subtitles also cover German, Japanese, Portuguese-Brazil, and Simplified Chinese. This wiki is English, Spanish, German, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Where should a new player start on this wiki?
Read Getting Started, then controls and combat. When you die, dump coins into Way of the Donkey and check best builds before the next run.
How long is Mexican Ninja?
Madbricks wagered around 8 hours for a first clear and 15 hours or more for side content. Decode that on how long to beat. Side jobs and suits sit on side quests and outfits.
Is this the official Mexican Ninja wiki?
No. This is an unofficial fan resource. Confirm patches, store prices, and support through Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, or Amber. Community hangouts listed on platforms are the official Discord, X, and social accounts.
